In January 2022, Kaged announced a rebranding from Kaged Muscle to Kaged. Alongside this announcement, they introduced a new pre-workout: Pre-Kaged Elite.

This naturally led to the question: what is the difference between regular Pre-Kaged pre-workout and Pre-Kaged Elite?

When it comes to Pre-Kaged vs. Pre-Kaged Elite, we’ll give you a full comparison of their key differences and which one may be right for you.

Overviews

Here’s a quick overview of each pre-workout.

Pre-Kaged

Pre-Kaged Pre Workout - Kaged

Pre-Kaged has been Kaged’s flagship pre-workout for over five years. It’s an “all-in-one” pre-workout that covers all the bases: energy, power, hydration, and recovery.

It’s recommended as a great starter pre-workout for beginners, but it can also serve as a daily driver for just about anyone.

Like most of Kaged’s products, Pre-Kaged is certified to be free of any banned substances through independent 3rd party testing. This makes it a great pre-workout for athletes that compete in tested sports leagues.

For more info, check out our full Pre-Kaged Pre-Workout review.

Pre-Kaged Elite

Pre-Kaged Elite was introduced in January 2022 as an ultra-premium step up from the classic Pre-Kaged pre-workout. It was announced alongside the rebranding from Kaged Muscle to Kaged.

Pre-Kaged Elite is designed for athletes who demand more from their supplements but do not want to ingest any illegal or banned pre-workout ingredients.

Delivering 388 mg of caffeine, 10 g of L-citrulline, and 2.5 g of L-tyrosine, Pre-Kaged Elite follows the popular pre-workout trend of having “overloaded” ingredient panels. You’d be hard-pressed to find a pre-workout that includes more L-citrulline (a pump ingredient) or L-tyrosine (a focus ingredient).

Pre-Kaged Elite is a good choice for anyone that needs more than the original Pre-Kaged’s 274 mg of caffeine to get going or is looking for a top-of-the-line pump pre-workout.

Conclusion

You can’t go wrong with Pre-Kaged or Pre-Kaged Elite. Both are excellent pre-workout supplements that will help you crush your next workout.

If you’re an experienced pre-workout user looking for that next level up, Pre-Kaged Elite is what you’re looking for.

If you’re newer to the pre-workout scene, looking to keep your caffeine consumption to reasonable levels, or simply want to save a little money, Pre-Kaged is a great choice.
