If you’re looking to really crank up the intensity of your next gym session, 500 mg of caffeine is sure to do the trick.

There aren’t many pre-workout supplements that contain 500 mg of caffeine per serving, but these are some high-quality recommendations we gladly stand behind.

Crack Reloaded is the newest version of Crack from Dark Labs. It does not contain DMAA or DMHA, but it still has a label brimming with stims + pump enhancers.

I mean, it has 500 mg of caffeine!

If you like aggression and energy, you'll love Crack Reloaded.

Crack Reloaded was introduced in 2022 as a version of Crack that does not contain any DMAA or DMHA. While some people were concerned this would result in a weaker product, those concerns were unfounded.

This product absolutely slaps.

Crack Reloaded contains three sources of caffeine: caffeine anhydrous, caffeine citrate, and dicaffeine malate. This means there is a quick release, regular release, and extended release of caffeine.

In other words: it hits quickly, keeps hitting, and then hits some more.

On top of the caffeine, Crack Reloaded contains generous doses of lion’s mane and alpha GPC for focus, BPEA and eria jarensis for euphoria, and alpha yohimbine for intensity.

Don’t be fooled by the lack of DMAA or DMHA. If you want energy, Crack Reloaded delivers in spades.

If you absolutely need to have a pre-workout containing those ingredients, check out our recommend pre-workouts with DMAA and pre-workouts with DMHA.

ESP Extreme uses a multi-scoop serving system. At two scoops, you’re getting a total of 500 mg of caffeine, which is plenty for me.

ESP Extreme uses a pretty simple formula that focuses heavily on stimulants and not much on anything else.

On top of the caffeine, you’ll get eria jarensis for mood elevation and beta-alanine to help with buffering lactic acid build up. There are a few other ingredients, but they’re not really worth calling out.

While ESP Extreme may not hit as hard as Crack Reloaded, it’s much easier on the wallet. You can usually find ESP Extreme for under $40, while Crack Reloaded is often around $60.

FAQs

What are the best pre-workout supplements with 500 mg of caffeine?

We recommend either Crack Reloaded or ESP Extreme if you’re looking for a pre-workout supplement containing 500 mg of caffeine per serving.

Is 500 mg of caffeine a lot of caffeine?

Yes, 500 mg is a lot of caffeine to consume in a single serving. Most people consume anywhere from 75 mg to 300 mg of caffeine in energy drinks or other caffeinated drinks.

Is it safe to consume 500 mg of caffeine?

Even though 500 mg of caffeine exceeds the FDA’s recommended daily caffeine intake for adults of 400 mg, it’s not acutely dangerous for most people to consume 500 mg of caffeine. Common side effects of excessive caffeine consumption include anxiety, sweating, headaches, and heart racing.
