Key Differences Between Gorilla Mode and Bucked Up

The main difference between these two pre-workouts is that Gorilla Mode packs a more carefully selected formula of ingredients.

While both have your standard pre-workout ingredients, Gorilla Mode kicks it up a notch with clinically proven ingredients that have been shown to enhance energy, focus and endurance.

Another key difference is that Bucked Up doesn’t offer the cognitive-enhancing properties that Gorilla Mode does.

Which pre-workout is better overall?

Gorilla Mode is easily the better pre-workout overall. This pre-workout achieves the ultimate pre-workout trifecta: increased strength and endurance, intense focus and insane pumps.

Which pre-workout is better for energy?

Gorilla Mode offers the most energy out of the two. With 350 mg of Caffeine Anhydrous and 350 mg of Eria Jarensis, you get a powerful hit of long-lasting energy with Gorilla Mode.

Which pre-workout is better for pumps?

Packing more pump ingredients like L-Citrulline, GlycerPump, Agmatine and Betaine, Gorilla Mode is the recommended pre-workout for those demanding massive pumps.

Which pre-workout is better for beginners?

Gorilla Mode is the better pre-workout for beginners, as you can start with one scoop.

Gorilla Mind has a strong reputation for producing pre-workout supplements with pharmaceutical-grade ingredients that are set at the proper dosage and formulated correctly.

As a pre-workout that promises massive increases in nitric oxide (NO) levels, energy, focus, intramuscular hydration and a major boost in muscle strength and endurance, Gorilla Mode has taken the supplement market by storm.

This pre-workout supplement excels in the performance and pump category, packing high doses of L-Citrulline, Creatine, GlycerPump, Agmatine and Betaine – all active ingredients that help boost blood flow and have been shown to impact muscle growth and performance.

This pre-workout also provides high doses of L-Tyrosine, Kanna and Huperzine A – all-natural substances that enhance focus and overall mental sharpness.

At $49.99 for a tub with 40 servings (1 scoop), this pre-workout offers excellent value for money.

Pros:

  • Great pump profile with a massive dose of L-citrulline (9,000 mg)
  • Helps muscle endurance and energy
  • Contains ingredients proven to help mental focus

Cons:

  • A full dose may cause side effects
  • Only 20 servings
  • No beta-alanine (may be a pro to some people)

As a company that started as a small local supplement brand selling a Deer Antler Spray product, Bucked Up – now teamed with DAS LABS – is a popular brand within the fitness space.

Based on the ingredients found in Bucked Up, the main focus of its formula is to provide long-lasting energy, endurance and mental alertness.

Bucked Up is well-known for its one-of-a-kind deer antler velvet patented ingredient – which claims to improve workout performance. However, the use of this ingredient is much disputed as there is no good scientific evidence to support its uses.

Moreover, DAS LABS’ Bucked Up also appears to be underdosed, with only 2,000 mg of beta-alanine (a non-essential amino acid) and 100 mg of Taurine (an ingredient often found in energy drinks). This makes it a pretty lacklustre pre-workout for a hefty price of $49.95 for only 30 servings.

Pros:

  • Provides long-lasting energy and endurance
  • Contains natural ingredients that may improve the overall health
  • Wide selection of flavors

Cons:

  • Expensive for small serving size
  • Many ingredients are underdosed
  • Only 200 mg of caffeine with no other stimulants
  • Some ingredients included lack scientific backing

Conclusion

Based on the ingredients used, reputation for excellence and positive reviews, Gorilla Mode is the best pre-workout. Gorilla Mode ingredients are both ideal and backed by science, giving you everything you’d want in a pre-workout drink.

And while Bucked Up is still a good pre-workout supplement, it doesn’t even come close to Gorilla Mode.

Use Gorilla Mode Pre-Workout if:

  • You’re looking to maximize your mental and physical performance at the gym
  • You want a pre-workout that actually gets the job done
  • You want insane pumps

Use Bucked Up Pre-Workout if:

  • You’re looking for long-lasting energy at the gym
  • You want to help enhance your muscle recovery
  • You’re looking for a natural-ingredient-packed formula
