Key Differences Between Woke AF and BAMF
Woke AF and BAMF Pre-Workout share the same Bucked Up foundation, making these two pre-workout supplements more similar than different.
The biggest difference between these two is how Bucked Up markets them. Woke AF is a high stimulant pre-workout with Dendrobium and Synephrine HCL as additional ingredients. BAMF doubles as a pre-workout and nootropic with Huperzine A and Hordenine as the additional ingredients.
Both also contain deer antler velvet extract – an ingredient found across all Bucked Up’s products – that claims to help stimulate muscular hypertrophy. However, this is more a marketing scheme than a scientifically-backed ingredient.
Everything is the same between these two pre-workouts other than the two additional ingredients in each. Both pre-workouts are more bark than bite, and neither are seriously heavy hitters.
Which pre-workout is better overall?
Given that these two pre-workouts are basically the same, there’s no clear winner as the better overall pre-workout. As per the labels, Woke AF is focused a bit more on energy, and BAMF is focused a bit more on mental focus.
Which pre-workout is better for energy?
Woke AF slightly edges out BAMF on paper, but in reality, they both deliver very similar experiences.
Which pre-workout is better for pumps?
Both are equal in pump ingredient profiles.
Which pre-workout is better for beginners?
Both Woke AF and BAMF Pre-Workout can be considered beginner friendly.

First by Bucked Up is their high stimulant pre-workout, Woke AF, which packs all the same ingredients as BAMF but takes it up a notch with a couple of unique ingredients: dendrobium and synephrine.
Woke AF combines clinically proven cognition enhancers with three different stimulants, and an ultra-potent delivery system helps drive those grueling workouts.
This pre-workout packs a hefty 333 mg of caffeine in addition to a bunch of performance-enhancing ingredients – all designed to enhance muscle mass and boost energy levels. The 6,000 mg of citrulline malate 2:1 for improved blood flow and 3,200 mg of beta-alanine for extended training sessions make it an all-around solid pre-workout.
The inclusion of Dendrobium and the very potent stimulant Synephrine, alongside the high dose of caffeine, means this pre-workout is not for the faint-hearted or those sensitive to caffeine.
Pros:
- Solid pump profile
- Nice caffeine dosage
- High stimulant energy for those with an already developed high tolerance.
Cons:
- Contains a very high dose of stimulants that some may find uncomfortable
- Some key ingredients appear to be underdosed (Taurine and Alpha-GPC)
- Expensive.
BAMF Overview
A solid "every day pre workout." Not overwhelming in terms of energy or focus, but also has no negative side effects.

Bucked Up’s other pre-workout, BAMF, is pretty much the same as its Woke AF pre-workout counterpart, with the exception of being both a nootropic and a pre-workout.
BAMF is a great everyday pre-workout that promises “hyperfocus” provided by the caffeine (333 mg), as well as the Alpha GPC and Huperzine A. This makes it a good pre-workout for anyone looking to improve their cognitive performance and promote healthy hormone levels (which Huperzine A has been shown to do).
In addition, BAMF contains Dynamine – which replaced Hordenine after it came under scrutiny by the FDA. However, be aware that there are still older versions floating around containing hordenine.
BAMF Pre-Workout also boasts a solid 6,000 mg of L-citrulline for maximized blood flow and 3,200 mg of beta-alanine to help enhance anaerobic and aerobic endurance and decrease lactic acid buildup.
Pros:
- Clinically effective doses for most ingredients
- Nootropic effects
- Solid energy
- Good focus.
Cons:
- High caffeine dose (333 mg) – not suitable for those that are caffeine sensitive
- Has a few underdosed ingredients.
Conclusion
Overall, both Woke AF and BAMF deliver extremely similar experiences. If you like one, you’ll likely enjoy the other.
While both are decent daily drivers, they are pretty overpriced compared to some of the best pre-workouts in the market.
Use Woke AF Pre-Workout if:
- You’ve already developed a high tolerance to stimulants
- You’re a more advanced pre-workout user looking to enhance your training.
Use BAMF Pre-Workout if:
- You’re looking for a nootropic, fat-burning, and physical performance increase
- You want to improve your cognitive performance.
