Glass is a fat burner supplement from Vices and Vibes that’s powered by 300 mg Eria Jarensis, 200 mg DMHA, 300 mg total caffeine (half from anhydrous and a half from Infinergy), 35 mg GBB, 25 mg Noopept, 1.5 mg Alpha Yo, Glass. It gives you the energy, focus, mood, and thermogenic effects you want in a fat burner without being overbearing or problematic.
Due to the level of stimulants (DMHA and Eria), I would only recommend this product for advanced fat burner and pre-workout users.

My Experience
Over two weeks, I tried this product twice. Once on its own for cardio, and once with a pure pump formula and Glass had me feeling great!
Effects
The main outputs of this product are energy, focus, mood elevation, and thermogenic effects.
Within 10-15 minutes of taking Glass, I felt a sudden and smooth wave of energy that lasted much longer than other fat burners I’ve taken, around 4-5 hours.
After a few minutes of the energy building up, I felt a dialed-in type of focus. While taking Glass, the focus and mood elevation would go back and forth, as far as which one was noticeable.
The thermogenic effects were strong; this product made me sweat so much.
The Alpha Yo effects were noticeable but not overbearing.
Other than significant sweating and needing to drink more water, Glass had no adverse side effects.
Flavor
The capsules were easy enough to swallow.
Scoop Size
A whole serving is three capsules which come out to 1.63-grams in total.
Ingredients
N-Phenethyl Dimethylamine Citrate – 300 mg
N-Phenethyl Dimethylamine Citrate, aka Eria Jarensis. Eria Jarensis is a stimulant commonly seen alongside DMHA in high stim pre-workouts.
300 mg is in the upper range for the dose of this ingredient. Usual amounts range from 150 mg to 500 mg, as found in Flame Pre Workout (which is terrific).
2-amino-5-Methylhexane – 200 mg
2-amino-5-Methylhexane, 2-Aminoisoheptane, DMHA, Kigelia Africana, Juglans Regia (J. Regia), Octodrine, and Dimethylhexylamine. DMHA is a stimulant, similar to DMAA, for boosting energy, focus, and mood.
200 mg is a standard dose; however, it doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll “feel” it because it says so on the label. Typical DMHA doses range from 100 to 300 mg.
B-Phenylethylamine – 200 mg
B-Phenylethylamine (Beta PEA) is a neurotransmitter that inhibits uptake and efflux (i.e., removal) of dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin levels (2008 study). It is included in Glass to increase focus and motivation.
This ingredient is not well understood and needs additional research. 200 mg is a solid dose. It is important to note that WADA bans it.
Theobromine – 200 mg
Theobromine is a stimulant that is a “caffeine light” ingredient found in chocolate, some tea plants, and the Kola Nut. Its name means “Food of the Gods,” Greek “theo” meaning gods, and “broma” meaning food. As anyone with a sugar craving, you can sort of understand why.
Most doses range from 100 mg-400 mg, so this serving is in the middle.
Infinergy (Dicaffeine Malate) – 200 mg
Di-Caffeine malate is the “extended-release” version of caffeine. Combined with caffeine anhydrous, this helps extend the effects of a pre-workout and offsets crash effects of high caffeine doses.
Glass uses “Infinergy,” a patented form of di-caffeine malate. In theory, this should give you more confidence that it is a high-quality ingredient.
Di-Caffeine Malate yields 75% of actual caffeine, meaning you get 150 mg of caffeine from this source.
Caffeine Anhydrous – 150 mg
Caffeine needs no introduction, but it’s one of the most researched sports supplements. Most fat burners will range between 100 and 400 mg (with the fantastic Shogun). Combined with the 150 mg yield of Infinergy, the total caffeine content for Glass is 300 mg.
Higenamine – 80 mg
Thought to have similar mechanisms to ephedrine, Higemanine has seen its primary application in fat burners; however, research is quite limited.
Examine says it is typically taken in 20 mg to 30 mg two to three times daily, placing Glass, at 80 mg, in the middle of the acceptable daily range.
Octopamine – 50 mg
This stimulant may also have minor fat-burning properties (Examine). It is a metabolite of synephrine.
100 mg is a standard dose, so the 50 mg included in Glass is half the dose.
GBB – 35 mg
Gamma-Butyrobetaine Ethyl Ester Chloride (GBB) is a molecule converted to carnitine in the body. This process can support fat loss and increase body temperature.
In other words, you’re going to sweat.
35 mg is within the recommended range for GBB, which is 25-50 mg.
Noopept – 25 mg
Noopept, known as N-Phenylacetyl-L-prolyglycine ethyl ester, is a synthetic nootropic ingredient with cognitive boosting and psychostimulatory effects. It’s in the racetam family of nootropics.
In terms of focus ingredients, this is one of the stars of this formula.
30 mg is the typical dose in products with the ingredient, but 25 mg still gives the effects.
There is some evidence for neuroprotective health (Alzheimer’s Discovery Organization)
Isopropylsynephrine – 25 mg
Isopropylnorsynephrine is a lipolytic, meaning that it helps break down fat into glycerol (energy). It is a “fat burner.” It may also possess energizing effects and is considered stronger than synephrine (bitter orange extract).
Synephrine is a well-researched ingredient that has been shown to aid in weight loss.
“In general, bitter orange extract alone (p-synephrine) or in combination with other herbal ingredients did not produce significant adverse events as an increase in heart rate or blood pressure or alter electrocardiographic data, serum chemistry, blood cell counts, or urinalysis. p-Synephrine alone and in combination products were shown to increase resting metabolic rate and energy expenditure, and modest increases in weight loss were observed with bitter orange extract/p-synephrine-containing products when given for six to 12 weeks.”
Synephrine Meta-Analysis
There is not a lot of research surrounding dosage. 25 mg should be enough to get you going, especially with everything else in the formula tailored towards thermogenic effects.
Black Pepper Extract 95% (Piper Nirgrum) (Fruit) – 5 mg
Black pepper extract is an absorption agent. It helps your body properly absorb all of the ingredients within the supplement. Typical products range between 5 and 20 mg, putting the 5 mg included right in that range.
Alpha Yohimbine – 1.5 mg
Alpha Yohimbine, or simply “alpha yo,” is a love-it-or-hate-it stimulant. Some individuals are sensitive to alpha yohimbine and completely avoid any pre-workout with it. Common adverse side effects can include anxiety, headaches, sweating, frequent urination, and increased blood pressure.
If you are sensitive to Alpha Yo, steer clear or start with two-thirds or one-third of a serving as the effects are noticeable. Typical doses of alpha yo are between 0.5 and 3 mg.
