Jacked Factory has been on the scene for a while now, but they’re always willing to reformulate its products for maximum benefits and effectiveness. This formulation of Burn XT Max does just that, featuring alpha yo, mitoburn, and organic caffeine.

I recommend this product for anyone looking to suppress their appetite and aid in fat metabolism. It is easy to start on a lower dosage for beginners and increase for those with a higher tolerance.

Thank you, Jacked Factory, for sending this full product for review!

Experience

After 20 minutes of taking the three capsules, I started to get some energy and noticeable alpha yo effects. My ears began to warm up as the energy production increased from a level 2 to 4 by 30 minutes. After the 30-minute mark, I felt increased focus toward the back of my head. It continued to amplify, growing from a noticeable two into a potent seven with a nootropic feeling.

I could run this product relatively consistently, which meant I was able to work during the review. The focus accelerated my performance, helping maintain attentiveness to what I was doing while not overstimulating. The alpha yo didn’t have any adverse effects initially, even at the 1.5 mg dosage included. It’s possible the potent nootropic effect from ALCAR helped balance this.

As time passed the 50-minute mark, the nootropic effects dialed back slightly to a 6 as the alpha yo became more noticeable at a level of 5. My breathing improved and I experienced a slight dry mouth. Leading me into the hour mark, I felt the full intensity of the alpha yo.

While initially ramped up to a level 5, it continues to increase to 8 out of 10 resulting in an inability to sit still. As a highly active CNS stimulant, It sometimes caused slight trembling at my fingertips.

I could feel appetite suppression while using this product and some thermogenic effects. I didn’t feel particularly anxious, the activation in the chest can feel similar to anxiety. The trembling improved as the impact increased, by around 1 hour and 40 minutes. I got a slight head buzz, but it dissipated quickly. After 2 hours, the effects leveled off for the stimulation of alpha yo, and I just had a smooth energy level with a good focus at a five.

Side Effects

I didn’t have any issues while running this product.

Dose/Serving Size

The serving size is three capsules, once adjusted to one capsule daily. The total serving amount adds up to over 2,000 mg of active ingredients. And the measured amounts on my scale were 830-900 per capsule, with three being close to 2,600mg.

I always took three capsules each time, as this was a fat burner and not a direct energy pill and performs best in this manner. It could be added into a stack with a non-stimulant or low-dosed pre-workout. However, don’t stack it with yohimbine/yohimbe/alpha yo as this was potent.

Ingredients

Acetyl-L-Carnitine HCl (ALCAR) – 1 g

L-carnitine is a compound made in the body, composed of lysine and methionine. Once acetylated, it becomes acetyl-l-carnitine and can cross the blood-brain barrier much more quickly.

While it is often included in fat burner products, like Herolean or Superhuman Burn, the research around its fat-burning efficacy is mixed, with some positive effects shown for weight loss in obese subjects.

Acetyl-L-Carnitine also has potential in other areas, such as reducing depression, reducing fatigue in older adults, and helping with recovery from exercise. Most doses range from 500 mg to 2,000 mg; this is right in the middle but a substantial amount.

Here are some other effects of ALCAR: energy production, cognitive benefits, neuroprotective properties, and anti-aging.

Green Tea Extract – 500 mg

(98% polyphenols, 75% Catechins, 45% EGCG)

GCG (epigallocatechin gallate) is a plant-based compound called catechin. Catechins are natural phenols and antioxidants with a wide array of effects. Familiar sources include white tea extract and green tea extract. It’s often simply referred to as green tea extract.

EGCG acts as a fat burner by inhibiting catechol-0-methyltransferase (COMT), an enzyme that degrades catecholamines. By inhibiting COMT, catecholamine levels elevate. Catecholamines help break down fat stores. By inhibiting COMT, EGCG allows catecholamines to do their thing for extended periods, leading to increased levels of fat removal.

In terms of dosage, most people should aim for 400 to 500 mg of green tea extract per day. It is also included for energy.

PurCaf Organic Caffeine  – 250 mg

PurCaf is made from organic green coffee beans. This means the coffee beans that produce this caffeine are grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers. It typically contains around 95% pure caffeine.

Caffeine is the standard form for increasing energy, alertness, motivation, and mood. The caffeine content varies for each product. The 350-450 range is the typical dosage for sports supplements and around 200 mg for fat burners. Some products may contain other caffeine or stimulants, which give you less need for more, such as below.

Less is more, as your dependency will lead to diminishing returns as you increase your intake. The overall combination of many factors, such as sleep, caffeine timing, diet, and nutrition, affects how much you will need. The dosage doesn’t always indicate how strong a product is, so look for other stimulants like rauwolscine extract found in burn xt max below.

MitoBurn (L-BAIBA) – 250 mg

Not much information is known about this ingredient, but here is the manufacturer’s description:

MitoBurn™ is L-BAIBA, which the muscles produce during exercise. It is an amino acid metabolite of L-valine and is triggered by the PGC-1α protein from exercising muscles. Known as an “exercise factor,” increased levels of L-BAIBA are associated with many of exercise’s numerous benefits. For example, L-BAIBA helps regulate metabolism, increase energy expenditure, manage fuel selection, and more. Until now, the best way to increase levels of BAIBA was through intense exercise…but that all changes with MitoBurn, designed to help ignite the metabolic fire within!

BAIBA has been shown to initiate the “browning” of white adipose tissue and brown adipose tissue to increase energy expenditure, improve insulin sensitivity, and help regulate weight management.

MitoBurn™ L-BAIBA is excellent for athletes trying to get the most out of their training, casually active individuals looking to support their healthy, active lifestyle, and those looking for healthy ways to support their efforts to get lean and fit. Read more about it here.

Rauwolscine Extract (Rauwolfia Vomitoria 90%) – 1.5 mg

Rauwolfia Vomitoria Extract, or Alpha Yohimbine, or simply “alpha yo,” is a “love it or hate it” stimulant. Some individuals are susceptible to alpha yohimbine and avoid any pre-workout with it outright. Common adverse side effects include anxiety, headaches, sweating, frequent urination, and increased blood pressure.

If you are sensitive to the effects of alpha yo, I’d suggest starting with one capsule to assess if the effects are too strong for you. Dosages can range from 0.5 to 3 mg, with the ladder being very potent.

Rauwolfia vomitoria is a plant native to West and Central Africa. It is a member of the Apocynaceae family and has a long history of traditional medicinal use by indigenous peoples in the regions where it grows. The plant is also known by various names, including “African serpentwood” and “kouayang.”

The plant contains several alkaloids, including reserpine, ajmaline, and serpentine. Reserpine, in particular, is a well-known compound found in rauwolfia vomitoria and has been used to treat high blood pressure and certain mental disorders. The alkaloids in rauwolfia vomitoria have been investigated for their potential antimalarial, anti-inflammatory, and anti-cancer properties, among other effects.

Huperzine A – 200 mcg

Huperzine A is cholinergic and acts as a cognitive enhancer. As an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor, it helps lengthen the half-life of cholinergic sources.

Depending on the extract percentage, it is taken in 50 to 200 mcg dosages. It is a naturally occurring alkaloid compound derived from a Chinese club moss plant (Huperzia serrata). It has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries and is known for its potential cognitive-enhancing properties.

We might see additional benefits: cognitive enhancer, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia prevention, and as a nootropic.
