Thermal Spark Fat Burner Review

Thermal Spark is a hardcore fat burner from Imperial Nutrition.

Widely known for its stimmed-out pre workout Excelsior, Imperial Nutrition also released a sister product: Thermal Spark.

Long story short, Thermal Spark is basically Excelsior in pill form. The same energy, crazy focus, and appetite suppression Excelsior has become famous for can also be found in Thermal Spark.

And yes, the same “illicit” feeling can be found in Thermal Spark.

This is a fat burner that will surely be talked about for years after it is gone. If you want something that will destroy your appetite, Thermal Spark may be the ticket.

But be warned: many users report serious crashes and mood drops after Thermal Spark wears off, just like Excelsior. This is for experienced users only that understand the risks involved.

Effects

The most notable effects of Thermal Spark are appetite suppression, increased focus, and mood elevation.

Like Excelsior, Thermal Spark has an amphetamine-like feel to it. As a result, it is more prone to abuse and can have harsh side effects after it wears off, including a significant decline in mood.

On the plus side, if you’re looking for something that absolutely annihilates your appetite, this is it. Thermal Spark causes a huge reduction in appetite and you will eat less while taking this product. As a result, it has made my list of the strongest fat burners.

I would not recommend this product for those who are prone to depression or mood crashes after taking supplements. For all of the laser focus and appetite suppression there is a price to pay in the form of a crash. This effects some more than others, but this side effects is noted way more for Imperial Nutrition products than most strong pre workouts.

Thermal Spark Ingredients

Exactly what the heck is in Thermal Spark? Great question. I don’t think the ingredient label tells the whole story.

As Thermal Spark uses a proprietary ingredient blend just like Excelsior, we cannot say how much of ingredient is in a serving of this fat burner.

Kigelia Africana Extract

Also known as the “sausage tree,” Kigelia Africana is sometimes included in pre workouts as a central nervous system stimulant. It is a naturally occurring source of DMHA.

Cacao Extract

This is the first of two ingredients unique to Thermal Spark, not found in Excelsior.

Cacao extract is rich in polyphenols that have a number of benefits, including reduced inflammation, increased blood flow, and improved cholesterol levels.

With that said, its benefits in this fat burner are probably not super significant. There is limited research around cacao extract dosages and, even if significant research existed, we don’t know how much is included in each serving of Thermal Spark.

Caffeine Anhydrous

Caffeine needs no introduction, right? Energy, focus, increased performance, etc. are all delivered by caffeine.

Juniper Extract

This is the second ingredient that is unique to Thermal Spark. Juniper berry extract can improve the effectiveness of caffeine.

Beauini Purpurea Extract

Bauhinia purpurea extract is included here as a metabolic booster.  This is an anti-ulcer ingredient traditionally used as an anti-ulcer treatment. However, it has been shown in at least one study to increase concentrations of T3 and T4 hormones, which are produced by the thyroid. Among other things, these hormones help control metabolism.

Bitter Orange Extract

Bitter orange extract is another name for synephrine, a mild stimulant and fat burner. This is typically seen in strong fat burners and some pre workouts like Alpha Lion Superhuman Burn.

Octopamine

This is a stimulant that may also have minor fat burning properties (Examine). It is a metabolite of synephrine.

Hawthorne Extract

This is used to treat heart disease and blood pressure issues, including low and high blood pressure. I’m guessing this is included to help take some edge off of the stimulants included here.
