Obedient X3 is a stackable, multi-purpose, stim-free formula from Team MuscleForce. Containing hydration and focus ingredients on top of the normal pump ingredients, this is a formula that’s very well-rounded and effective.
Recommended for nearly anyone who’d like to have more focus and hydration elements to their pump formula that isn’t just pumps without any stims.

My Experience
I took this over a half-dozen times, a few times by itself (including once with just adding Beta Alanine), a few times with a stim pre-workout without any pump ingredients and a fully loaded pre-workout to magnify the pumps and focus.
Effects
Being a stim-free formula, the main aspects of Obedient are the focus and most definitely the pumps. With a combination of 1 g Choline, 500 mg ALCAR, 30 mg Noopept, and 300 mcg Huperzine, my focus was incredible.
When it comes to pumps, Obedient definitely delivers. Its formula includes 6 g L-Citrulline Malate 2:1, 3 g Glycerol Monostearate, 1 g Beet Root Powder, and 250 mg L-Norvaline.
On top of pumps and focus, Obedient also contains hydration elements (hence the X3), with 3 g Taurine and 500 mg Coconut Water Powder to keep you hydrated during your workout.
Obedient has no noticeable side effects, though there is some ever-so-slight clumping starting to appear after well over a year of having opened the product.
Flavor
The flavor I have is Snow Cone, and it’s really, really good and very sweet. If you like an almost smooth sherbet-esque flavor this is for you. Usually I’m not a fan of Rainbow Sherbet, but even I really liked this. Other flavors include “Pink Lemonade” and “Pineapple Mango.”
Scoop Size
The scoop size is 17.53 grams. On the label it says that it’s one rounded scoop, but as you can see in the picture, even a heaping scoop only gets up to 17.36 grams, and that was a hard scoop to take a picture of without falling all over the scale.
You almost need to do 2 scoops.
Half a serving, 8.765 grams, is roughly two-thirds of a scoop, I’d do two of those for a full serving.
Obedience X3 Ingredients
L-Citrulline Malate (2:1) – 6,000 mg
Citrulline Malate helps with pumps and blood flow. Woke AF uses the standard 2:1 ratio between L-citrulline and malic acid, which is nice to see.
6 grams is a clinically effective dose, delivering 4 grams of pure L-citrulline and 2 grams of malic acid.
Glycerol Monostearate – 3,000 mg
This is the generic form of Glycerol powder found in other pre-workouts products. Glycerol powder assists with hydration and allows the body to absorb more water than it normally would. This obviously helps stave off dehydration and can have mild improvements on endurance.
But the real reason it is often included in pre workout supplements is that all of this extra water absorption can help your muscles swell up, giving you a “swole” look.
3 grams is on the higher-end for glycerol. It usually ranges from 2 to 3 grams per serving in good supplements.
One slight side-effect of glycerol is clumping inside of the tub, though I’ve had mine for well over a year or so and I’ve had very minimal clumping.
Taurine – 3,000 mg
Taurine is often included in energy drinks and pre-workouts after gaining notoriety from its inclusion in Red Bull. It can aid in blood flow, reduce cramping, and act as a booster to antioxidant defense systems (Examine). It’s a pretty insignificant ingredient in pre workout, but doesn’t hurt anything either. Surprisingly enough, it’s actually used to treat congestive heart failure and hepatitis in a medical setting (WebMD).
Beet Root Powder – 1,000 mg
A natural source of betaine, beet root powder helps improve cardiovascular capacity and endurance. 1 g is a typical serving amount.
Coconut Water Powder – 500 mg
Coconut water powder contains significant amounts of electrolytes that help maintain hydration during intense workouts. Most doses range between 500 mg and 2,000 mg, so 500 mg is at the low end of the range.
L-Norvaline – 250 mg
L-Norvaline is a unique amino acid and a form of the BCAA valine. It is an arginase inhibitor, which means that it helps prevent the breakdown of arginine in the body. This makes the nitric oxide production of citrulline more effective.
Some sources suggest that a common dose of L-norvaline is between 100 mg and 200 mg or even up to 400 mg, but I am not sure how well supported this claim is (source, source). So at 250 mg, it’s right in the middle in comparison to similar products with L-Norvaline.
Choline Bitartrate 97% – 1,000 mg
Choline is included as a focus ingredient. Compared with Alpha GPC, choline bitartrate may not be as effective as a nootropic (source). This is another potential area of improvement for the product formula.
Still, the 1,000 mg of choline bitartrate will help with focus, it’s just not as well researched. Doses usually range between 500 mg and upwards of 2,000 mg.
Acetyl-L-Carnitine – 500 mg
L-Carnitine is a compound made in the body, composed of lysine and methionine. Once acetylated, it becomes Acetyl-L-Carnitine and is able to cross the blood-brain barrier much more easily.
While it is often included in fat burner products, like Herolean or Superhuman Burn, the research around its fat burning efficacy is mixed, with some positive effects shown for weight loss in obese subjects.
Acetyl-L-Carnitine also has potential in other areas, such as reducing depression, reducing fatigue in older adults, and helping with recovery from exercise.
Most doses range from 500 mg to 2,000 mg so this is on the lower end, but with everything else should help you stay on target, so to speak.
L-Tyrosine – 250 mg
L-Tyrosine helps “smooth out” some of the harsher effects of stimulants and increase focus. Some limited research also shows it can act as a cognitive booster in stressful environments. Most doses range from 500 mg to 3,000 mg so at 250 mg it may have a very small effect. One dark spot in an otherwise great formula.
Noopept – 30 mg
Noopept, also known as N-Phenylacetyl-L-prolyglycine ethyl ester, is a synthetic nootropic ingredient with cognitive boosting and psychostimulatory effects. It’s in the racetam family of nootropics. In terms of focus ingredients, this is the star of this formula.
30 mg is a very solid dose of noopept
There is some evidence for neuroprotective health (Alzheimer’s Discovery Organization)
Huperzine A 1% – 300 mcg
Like Choline Bitartrate, Huperzine A is a cholinergic that acts as a cognitive enhancer. It tends to be taken in doses of 50 mcg to 200 mcg, so the dose found in Obedient does land actually over the clinically effective range. As an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor, It helps lengthen the half-life of cholinergic sources (Examine).
