If a pre-workout with 500 mg of caffeine isn’t enough, then what is?

Obviously a pre-workout with 600 mg of caffeine.

At this level of caffeine, there really are not many reputable supplement companies putting out quality supplements aside from Apollon Nutrition.

If you’re looking for a truckload of caffeine while still consume a high-quality, well-rounded pre-workout supplement, no one does it like Apollon.

Today we’ll be looking at their two flagship pre-workouts: Hooligan and Assassin. Both are excellent and deliver a jaw-dropping 600 mg of caffeine per serving.

Table of Contents [show]

  • 1 The 2 Best Pre-Workouts with 600 mg of Caffeine

The 2 Best Pre-Workouts with 600 mg of Caffeine

  2. Assassin Pre-Workout – Apollon Nutrition

Hooligan Pre-Workout is one of my personal favorite pre-workouts. Not only is it one of the strongest pre-workouts around, but it’s also a great pump pre-workout. This makes it a popular choice among bodybuilders who need to have skin-splitting pumps and endless hours of training.

And, yes, it contains a total of 600 mg of caffeine from caffeine anhydrous and dicaffeine malate.

What’s even more impressive is that Hooligan doesn’t contain any banned pre-workout ingredients. This makes it an excellent pre-workout for tested athletes or anyone who doesn’t want to consume sketchy substances.

Assassin Pre-Workout – Apollon Nutrition

A well-rounded, but still hardcore, pre-workout experience.

Assassin Pre-Workout is Apollon’s infamous “hardcore pre-workout.” For people that want to get angry and lift with rage, Assassin is a solid pick.

On top of the 600 mg of caffeine yield, Assassin v7 (the current version as of November 2022) contains 200 mg of DMHA, which v6 did not have. In fact, Assassin is included on our list of the best DMHA pre-workouts.

And while Apollon Nutrition has never been known for their flavors, the Cherry Cola Starfighter flavor (exclusive at Nutri Cartel) is pretty good!

FAQs

What are the best pre-workout supplements with 600 mg of caffeine?

We suggest either Hooligan Pre-Workout or Assassin Pre-Workout if you want a pre-workout containing 600 mg of caffeine per serving.

Is 600 mg of caffeine a lot of caffeine?

Yes, 600 mg is definitely a lot of caffeine to consume in a single serving. Most people consume anywhere from 75 mg to 300 mg of caffeine in energy drinks or other caffeinated drinks.

Is it safe to consume 600 mg of caffeine?

While 600 mg of caffeine exceeds the 400 mg daily limit recommended by the FDA’s, it’s not acutely dangerous for most people with a caffeine tolerance to consume 600 mg of caffeine. The most likely outcome is that you may feel uncomfortable for a few hours. Common side effects of excessive caffeine consumption include anxiety, sweating, headaches, and heart racing.
