Pandamic is a pre-workout supplement from Panda Supps. A newcomer to the supplement industry, Pandamic is their high stim product offering. Powered by 6 g L-Citrulline, 3.2 g Beta-Alanine, 750 mg L-Tyrosine, 350 mg Caffeine, 50 mg Higenamine, 50 mg Synephrine, and others, this is a reasonably well-balanced product without any gray market stims.
I tried it twice, and the energy was the most substantial aspect of this product. Pandamic is recommended for those with a bit of pre-workout experience under their belt and want a product with no illicit or gray market ingredients. But don’t be fooled: the energy and sense of urgency are still present!
Read on for additional details of my experience, the best prices for the Pandamic pre workout, and a breakdown of its ingredient label.

My Experience
I took Pandamic twice, and the effects were practically the same both times, strong urgency sense, energy, and focus.
Effects
Energy, focus, and a strong sense of urgency were the main focus points of this pre workout.
With 3.2 g of Beta-Alanine and 50 mg of Astragin, the Beta tingles began within 6 minutes and lasted for a good 20-25 minutes. I’d give it an intensity of 7.5 out of 10.
Energy started within 15 minutes and came in strong, and lasted for a good 4 hours.
The focus was surprisingly good and started within 20 minutes.
The thermogenic effects were relatively strong with the number of stimulants and made me drink much more water than I expected.
No side effects or a crash at all.
Flavor
I tried Sour Gummy, and it was honestly more sweet than sour. No chemical or bitter taste. Out of 10, I’d give it an 8.5 out of 10; it was enjoyable and tasted good. Only one other flavor is available, that being “Peach Mango.”
Scoop Size
As it was a sample, the serving size on the site states 19.1 grams, but my scale showed 17.6 grams.
Ingredients
Below you’ll find the Pandamic Pre Workout ingredients, along with a breakdown of each ingredient.
L-Citrulline – 6,000 mg
L-Citrulline is one of the most common pre workout ingredients. It has extensive evidence supporting its effects on increasing nitric oxide production, power output, and endurance.
Although most research uses a variation known as L-Citrulline Malate (2:1), anecdotal evidence supports that L-Citrulline delivers much of the same benefit.
When included as pure L-Citrulline, we like to see 4 grams as the dosage, but Pandamic gives you more, at 6 grams, which is a perfect dose.
Beta-Alanine – 3,200 mg
Beta-alanine has been shown to support muscular endurance and can act as a lactic acid buffer.
However, beta-alanine requires regular intake to be effective, akin to creatine. Daily supplementation of beta-alanine is recommended, with a loading period of three to five weeks needed to be effective.
3 to 4 grams is the recommended daily dosage for beta-alanine. At 3.2 grams, Pandamic is at the standard dose you’ll see in more pre workouts.
Betaine Anhydrous – 2,500 mg
Betaine is included to help increase your power output. However, research is pretty inconsistent around this claim. 2.5 grams is a substantial dose of this ingredient, typically between 1.5 g and upwards of 5 g.
L-Tyrosine – 750 mg per serving
L-Tyrosine helps “smooth out” some of the harsher effects of stimulants and increases focus. Some limited research also shows it can act as a cognitive booster in stressful environments.
750 mg is an okay dosage, and lands within the range recommended for use in an exercise setting or usually between 500 mg and 2 grams.
Alpha GPC – 400 mg
Alpha GPC is used for enhancing cognition and increasing power output. It’s usually a 50% yield of actual GPC.
For athletic purposes, doses tend to range from 300 mg to 600 mg. Doses for reducing the effects of cognitive decline are much higher, around 1,200 mg per day. I don’t know if the 400 mg included is before or after the yield.
Caffeine Anhydrous – 350 mg
Caffeine needs no introduction, right? Energy, focus, increased performance, etc., are all delivered by caffeine.
Ranging from 250 to 450 mg, this is roughly the average you’ll see in a pre workout supplement,
L-Theanine – 150 mg
L-Theanine is a somewhat soothing amino acid that promotes relaxation and takes the edge off of caffeine to prevent a crash.
150 mg is a proper dosage of L-Theanine and should be enough to realize some of the synergistic effects of caffeine.
Dendrobium Extract – 100 mg
Once dubbed “DMAA’s replacement,” dendrobium extract is a Chinese herb traditionally used to boost the immune system and provide energy.
Dendrobium is rich in PEA, a central nervous stimulant and reuptake inhibitor of norepinephrine, which helps increase focus and motivation.
100 mg is a bit light, as typical doses range from 200 mg to 600 mg in most pre workout supplements. 100 mg is a somewhat disappointing dosage.
Himalayan Rock Salt – 100 mg
Salt helps retain water, which enables you to achieve a great pump during your workout. It also contains essential electrolytes, though the dose is relatively low (More info: Supplements in Review)
AstraGin – 50 mg
Like Bioperine (aka black pepper extract), AstraGin helps with the absorption of nutrients.
50 mg is the standard dosage for this ingredient.
Higenamine – 50 mg
Thought to have similar mechanisms to ephedrine, Higemanine has seen its use as a fat burner, though this research is quite limited
Examine says it is typically taken in doses of 20 mg to 30 mg two to three times daily, so 50 mg is effectively a total daily dose delivered all at once.
Synephrine – 50 mg
Synephrine is a well-researched ingredient that has been shown to aid in weight loss.
“In general, bitter orange extract alone (p-synephrine) or in combination with other herbal ingredients did not produce significant adverse events as an increase in heart rate or blood pressure or alter electrocardiographic data, serum chemistry, blood cell counts, or urinalysis. p-Synephrine alone as well as in combination products were shown to increase resting metabolic rate and energy expenditure, and modest increases in weight loss were observed with bitter orange extract/p-synephrine-containing products when given for six to 12 weeks.”
Synephrine Meta-Analysis
50 mg of synephrine is the proper dosage for fat-burning effects.
N-Methyltyramine HCL – 35 mg
NMT is a focus enhancer and stimulant, similar to synephrine, banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). NMT is also used for weight loss.
Typically included at a dosage around 200 mg in supplements, the 35 mg included is quite unsatisfactory.
Theophylline Anhydrous – 35 mg
Theophylline anhydrous is a bronchodilator that treats the symptoms of asthma, bronchitis, and emphysema by making it easier to breathe. It achieves this by opening up the airways in your lungs.
While indeed an atypical ingredient, I have seen it before in Chemix Pre Workout, Red Sky Fat Burner, and Cannibal Ferox.
Isopropylnorsynephrine – 20 mg
Isopropylnorsynephrine is a lipolytic agent, meaning it helps break down fat into glycerol (energy). It is a “fat burner.” It may also possess energizing effects and is considered stronger than synephrine (bitter orange extract).
There is not a lot of research around dosage, but 20 mg should be enough to get at least you going.
