Phenta Plex Pre Workout Review + Discount

Phenta Plex is a pre workout supplement manufactured by ABL Pharma. It’s known for packing a high-stim package into an unassuming package. Notable ingredients include 400 mg of caffeine and 100 mg of DMHA.

Phenta Plex seemingly came out of nowhere, suddenly donning the title of “the next Excelsior.”

So, is it?

Phenta Plex does deliver truly excellent focus. I really enjoy its effects and recommend it for those who like clean energy, laser focus, and euphoria. It’s a great DMHA pre workout.

With that said, Phenta Plex is not Excelsior. I mean that as a compliment. Phenta Plex delivers excellent focus and energy, but it doesn’t have the “tweaked out” feeling of Excelsior. Excelsior, at least the batch I tried in early 2020, definitely had some super sketchy ingredients in it and it gave me a terrible crash.

I don’t want another Excelsior. I’d take Phenta Plex over Excelsior any day.

My Experience

I’ve taken a full dose of Phenta Plex a couple of times now and it consistently delivers a great kick of energy and superior focus. On top of that, the euphoria is quite nice and lasts a while.

It should be noted that people are reporting a wide variety of experiences with this pre workout. Some are saying it’s great and hits hard, others are saying it’s a dud.

It seems like there is either a lack of consistency in how the product is manufactured or a set of ingredients that have highly individualized responses.

Phenta Plex vs Excelsior

As I mentioned above, Phenta Plex has been getting a lot of comparisons to Excelsior.

I think this is mainly a marketing tactic, but I don’t agree with it. Excelsior most likely, in my opinion, contained some kind of amphetamines and gave me a terrible crash. I’m not interested in finding a pre workout exactly like Excelsior. To me, Phenta Plex is far superior.

Scoop Size

Be warned: the scoop size that comes with Phenta Plex weighs out scoops that are about 11 grams.

You only need a little over a half scoop to get the full 7 grams serving.

Don’t go with a full scoop!

Effects

The most prominent effects of Phenta Plex are energy, focus, and euphoria. I’d say it scores an 8/10 in all of those categories and lasts for 4-6 hours.

Phenta Plex is a pure stimulant pre workout, so you won’t be getting any pumps from it. I was enjoying myself too much to care, though.

In terms of similar pre workouts, I’d say Phenta Plex reminds me of Wrecked Extreme, Pre Phase KO, and even Flame. It’s maybe a little less intense than Flame, but overall I think Phenta Plex is strong without being too overwhelming.

I did not experience any crash or other negative side effects from Phenta Plex.

Flavor

I tried the Blue Razz flavor and honestly, it was pretty nice. It did have a bit of a chemical after taste, but I didn’t mind.

Other flavors available include fruit punch, sour candy, and strawberry lemonade. I have not tried those flavors yet.

The Review Bros reviewed Phenta Plex in December 2021 and they did not find it all that remarkable. They noted a significant crash after taking Phenta Plex, which I was surprised to hear because I did not notice a crash.

I’m usually pretty sensitive to low mood after taking pre workout, but didn’t have that issue after taking Phenta Plex a few times.
